Funding

Cheeky Chops Childminding accepts government-funded childcare to help families access high-quality early years care.

 

Funded Hours Available

Funded hours are provided by the government for 38 weeks per year (term-time only). At Cheeky Chops, we spread these hours over the year.

• 15 Hours Funding (11 hours per week stretched) - Available for children aged from 9 months.

• 30 Hours Funding (22 hours per week stretched)- Available for children over aged 2 years.

 

Standard Fees

Our regular daily fee is £75 per day. This applies to non-funded sessions or when hours exceed the funded amount. All fees are subject to review and may change with notice.

 

Consumables Charge

Funded hours cover care only. At Cheeky Chops, we charge a consumables fee per funded day for all 3 and 4 year old funded places. This helps cover:

• Food and snacks

• Nappies (if required) and wipes

• Arts, crafts and resources used daily

Speak to the setting manager to receive a full fee breakdown, including consumable charges.

 

Tax-Free Childcare

Families can also use the Tax-Free Childcare scheme (subject to eligibility), which offers up to £2,000 per child per year to help with childcare costs. This can be used alongside funded hours.
